On the morning of October 30th, a delegation of six people led by Zhao Lehui, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guangzhou Maritime University, came to our college for visit and exchange. Vice Principal of our college, Ma Hongtao attended the meeting, and the relevant from the Academic Affairs Office, Navigation School, Mechanical and Electrical School, Humanities School, and PE Department accompanied the visit.

Ma Hongtao warmly welcomed the team of Zhao Lehui, and briefly introduced the school's historical evolution, educational characteristics, and achievements at the meeting. Zhao Lehui introduced the history of Guangzhou Maritime University and the progress of founding Guangzhou Ocean University. Afterwards, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the construction of maritime PE courses, the experience of seafarer skills competition, and the construction of related majors in the cruise industry, and expressed cooperative intention on the construction of maritime sports course.

After the meeting, Ma Hongtao accompanied Zhao Lehui and his delegation to visit the school's maritime training center, ship maneuvering simulator, intelligent ship cabin, school museum and other teaching bases.
