Ship Navigation Safety Management Program is new in National Vocational Students Skills Competition. This program is a team competition. During the two-day competition, participants need to compete in three projects: cargo loading, navigation route design, and navigation safety management. The competition focuses on ship cargo transportation, route navigation, positioning and navigation, ship maneuvering, and seafarers’ duties in maritime communication and emergency response.
After more than three months of hard training, our college team developed a solid foundation. In the competition, the participating team members performed outstandingly, calmly responded to equipment failures, and successfully completed the competition tasks, fully demonstrating the excellent professional and excellent teamwork spirit.
In the future, our college will further implement the reform of project-based education and teaching, effectively improve students' professional literacy and skills, focusing on cultivating high-quality skilled talents, and serving the national strategy of maritime power.
